The Book of Revelation or Apocalypse depicts the end of the present age and the coming of God's future kingdom. The grand theme of the Book of Revelation is that of two warring powers, God [Creator] and Satan [creature], and God's ultimate victory. It would be a mistake and foolish to consider the two powers as equal in might.

God [Creator] is always stronger and has infinite power than Satan [creature] and Satan will continue his scheming plots only because God [Creator] permits him to do so. Therefore, at the final battle Satan [creature] and his demons, devils and evil followers are utterly destroyed. In fact, without a contest. That is, by fire from heaven and consume them.

When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison and will come out to deceive all the nations in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, and mobilize them for war. His armies will be as many as the sands of the sea; they will come swarming over the entire country and besiege the camp of the saints, which is the city that God loves. But fire will come down on them from heaven and consume them.

Then, the devils, who misled them, will be thrown into the lake of fire and sulphur, where the beast and the false prophet are, and their torture will not stop, day and night, for ever and ever. - Rev. 20:7-10 -

The central figure in the army of God the King is the Lord Jesus Christ, the only 'begotten Son of God'. Thus, the Book of Revelation begins the words, "The Revelation of Jesus Christ" - Rev. 1:1 - This is not a book of revelations, but of one revelation - The Lord Jesus Christ.

John's the author of the Book of Revelation, first vision is of Christ Jesus standing in the midst of His Church with eyes like fire, that is, All-Seeing, and feet like fine brass, that is, All-Powerful, and hair like wool, white as snow, that is, Eternal and All-Knowing and with a sharp two-edged sword coming out of His mouth, that is, The Word of Truth.

Very soon now, I (The Lord Jesus Christ) shall be with you again, bringing the reward to be given to every man/woman according to what he/she deserves. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. Happy are those who will have washed their robes clean, so that they will have the right to feed on the tree of life and can come through the gates into the city. - Rev. 22:12-14 -

The true of all scriptural/biblical prophecy, God's Word comes to a particular situation; but it yields a harvest to now and latest generations as they receive it. Therefore, 'Revelation' assures us that God is present, purposeful, and powerful today, tomorrow and days to come; no matter what forms the beast may take.

The Beast or Satan influence in earthly and worldly affairs is clearly revealed in the Sacred Scripture/Holy Bible and in our everyday, earthly and worldly lives/life. Indeed, Satan is permitted to afflict God's people. But he is never permitted to win an ultimate victory over them.

Satan nature is malicious. Satan leads people into sin by various methods, and of the method used by Satan in carrying out his evil work, none is more characteristic than 'Temptation'. Satan brings disorder into the physical world by afflicting human beings. At times he opposes the work of God by violent means, and disguise themselves as messengers of God.

Along with his work of tempting mankind, Satan delights in deception. The great falsehood which Satan uses so frequently is that, good can be attained by doing wrong or sinning, that is, sin against God. As a great deceiver, Satan is an expert at falsifying truth.

Strength for a Christian's victory over sin has been provided through the death of Christ Jesus.

Now my soul is troubled.
What shall I (The Lord Jesus Christ) say;
Father, save me from this hour?
But it was for this very reason that I have come to this hour.
Father, glorify your name!

A voice came from heaven, 'I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again.' People standing by, who heard this, said it was a clap of thunder; others said, 'It was an angel speaking to him.' Jesus answered, 'It was not for my sake that this voice came, but for yours.'

'Now sentence is being passed on this world;
now the prince of this world is to be overthrown.
And when I am lifted up from the earth,
I shall draw all men to myself.' - John 12:27-32 -

By these words Jesus indicated the kind of death he would die. - John 12:33 -

I (The Lord Jesus Christ) have told you all this
so that you may find peace in me.
In the world you will have trouble,
but be brave:
I (The Lord Jesus Christ) have conquered the world. - John 16:33 -

Many people have trouble admitting the existence of such an enemy as Satan. Thus, many people wonder why God would allow Satan, this great embodiment of evil, to exist in His creation. No completely satisfying answer to this question has been found. Perhaps God allows it to show that evil and wrongdoing do not provide the key to the ultimate meaning of life which man/woman so desperately desires.

I have through years of reading, pondering, reflecting and contemplating, the 3 things that last; FAITH . HOPE . LOVE and I would like to made available my sharing from the many thinkers, authors, scholars and theologians whose ideas and thoughts I have borrowed. God be with them always. Amen!

I STILL HAVE MANY THINGS TO SAY TO YOU BUT THEY WOULD BE TOO MUCH FOR YOU NOW. BUT WHEN THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH COMES, HE WILL LEAD YOU TO THE COMPLETE TRUTH, SINCE HE WILL NOT BE SPEAKING AS FROM HIMSELF, BUT WILL SAY ONLY WHAT HE HAS LEARNT; AND HE WILL TELL YOU OF THE THINGS TO COME.

HE WILL GLORIFY ME, SINCE ALL HE TELLS YOU WILL BE TAKEN FROM WHAT IS MINE. EVERYTHING THE FATHER HAS IS MINE; THAT IS WHY I SAID: ALL HE TELLS YOU WILL BE TAKEN FROM WHAT IS MINE. - JOHN 16:12-15 -

It would be difficult to find a person in Israel's life who was better prepared and qualified than Moses to write the history recorded in the Book of Genesis. A man who was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians. In fact, Moses was providentially prepared to comprehend and integrate, under the inspiration of God, all the available records, manuscripts, and oral narratives.

Moses may have written the Book of Genesis during the years of the wilderness wandering to prepare the new generation to enter the land of Canaan. Moses, as a prophet who enjoyed the unusual privilege of unhurried hours of communion with God on Mount Sinai. Moses was well equipped to record for all generations this magnificent account of God's dealings with the human race and the nation of Israel/Jacob.

The early Universal Church, however, held to the conviction that Moses wrote the first book of the Sacred Scripture/Holy Bible. Placed at the opening of the Hebrew Scriptures, Genesis is the first of the five Book of Moses, known as the PENTATEUCH. Moses may have finished writing the Book of Genesis not long before his death on Mount Nebo. - Deut. chapter 34 -

In such a crucial historical context, the message of the Book of Genesis would have been of tremendous spiritual help to its first hearers. The 'creation of the world', 'the beginnings of sin and disobedience', 'the principle of judgement and deliverance', the scattering of the nations', 'the call and covenant God made with Abraham', and 'the checkered careers of the first descendants of Abraham'.

The Book of Genesis takes the reader to the moment when the Creator spoke into being the sun, moon, stars, planets, galaxies, plants, moving creatures, and mankind. Those who seek to discredit the Book of Genesis by pointing to alleged discrepancies between religion and science are blind to the 'exalted spiritual' content of this work. If anyone expects to find in Genesis a scientific account of how the world/earth/universe came into existence, with all questions concerning primitive life answered in technical language, he/she will be disappointed. The Book of Genesis is not an attempt to answer such technical questions.

Yahweh/God called Moses, and from the Tent of Meeting addressed him, saying 'Speak to the sons of Israel.' - Lev. 1:1 -

At that time they were reading from the Book of Moses to the people, when they found this written in it, 'The Ammonite and the Moabite shall never be admitted to the assembly of God. - Neh. 13:1 -

And his leprosy was cured at once. Then Jesus said to him, 'Mind you do not tell anyone, but go and show yourself to the priest and make the offering prescribed by Moses, as evidence for them.' - Matt. 8:4 -

Philip found Nathanael and said to him, 'We have found the one Moses wrote about the Law, the one about whom the prophets wrote: he is Jesus son of Joseph, from Nazareth. - John 1:45 -

I was blessed with God's help, and so I have stood firm to this day, testifying to great and small alike, saying nothing more than what the prophets and Moses himself said would happen: that the 'Christ' was to suffer and that, as the first to rise from the dead, He was to proclaim that light now shone for our people and for the pagans too. - Acts 25:22-23 -

This promise is realized in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Seed of Abraham through whom peoples of all nations and families may enter into the joy of knowing the God of Abraham. The true 'seed' or descendants of Abraham, apostle Paul affirmed, are not Abraham's physical descendants but those who have the same faith as Abraham.

Merely by belonging to the Lord Jesus Christ you are the posterity of Abraham, the heirs he was promised. - Gal. 3:29 -

Not all those descend from Israel/Jacob are Israel/Jacob; not all the descendants of Abraham are His true children. Remember: It is through Isaac that your name will be carried on, which means that it is not physical descent that decides who are the children of God; it is only the children of the promise who will count as the true descendants. The actual words in which the promise was made were:

I shall visit you at such a time, and Sarah will have a son. Even more to the point is what was said to Rebecca when she was pregnant by our ancestor Isaac, but before her twin children were born and before either had done good or evil.

In order to stress that God's choice is free, since it depends on the one who calls, not on human merit, Rebecca was told: the elder shall serve the younger, or as Scripture says elsewhere: I showed my love for Jacob/Israel and my hatred for Esau. - Romans 9:7-13 - Gen. 21:12; John 8:31-44; Gen. 18:10; Gen. 11:5-6; Gen. 25:23; Matt. 1:1-2 -

At times attention is focused on the men in the Book of Genesis. But women of major significance also appear in the Book of Genesis. Eve is the mother of all living. - Gen. 3:20 - Sarah had a faith that was complementary to Abraham's. - Gen. 21:1-7 - Leah, Rachel, Bilhah and Zilpah are the mothers of the 12 patriarchs of Israel/Jacob. - Gen. 29:31-30:24; 35:23-26 -

Other religions and philosophies result from the endless human quest for God; Christianity results from God's quest for lost mankind. What can be known of God from nature? God has made Himself known to all people everywhere in the marvels of nature and in the human conscience, which is able to distinguish right from wrong. This knowledge is 'Universal' and continuous, by it God has displayed His glory to everyone.

As valuable as general revelation is for justice, honesty and decency in the world today, nevertheless, it must be completed by the "Good News" of God's mercy and His gracious gift of perfect righteousness. Nature does not show God's plan for saving: those who do wrong, and those who are wicked and evil. The message of salvation was seen dimly throughout Old Testament sacrifices and ceremonies.

This promise is realized in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Seed of Abraham through whom peoples of all nations and families may enter into the joy of knowing the God of Abraham and be saved.

A genealogy of Jesus Christ, son of David, son of Abraham:
Abraham was the father of Isaac,
                                            Isaac the father of Jacob/Israel,
                                            Jacob/Israel the father of Judah...........
                                            and Jacob was the father of Joseph the husband of Mary;
of her was born Jesus who is called Christ.

The sum of generations is therefore: fourteen from Abraham to David; fourteen from David to the Babylonian deportation; and fourteen from the Babylonian deportation to Christ. - Matt. 1:1-17 -

The full and final revelation of God has occurred in Christ Jesus. And the Good News is not complete until we witness and hear that Jesus Christ rose again triumphantly over sin, Satan, and the grave, and is alive for ever and ever.

As according to the Sacred Scripture/Holy Bible, the last book is the revelation given by God to Jesus Christ so that the Lord Jesus Christ could tell His apostles, disciples, teachers, believers and all those who loves God, about the things which are now to take place very soon; God sent His angel to make it known to His servant John, and John has written down everything he saw and swears it is the Word of God guaranteed by the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Book of Revelation or Apocalypse depicts the end of the present age and the coming of God's future kingdom. The grand theme of the Book of Revelation is that of two warring powers, God [Creator] and Satan [creature], and God's ultimate victory. It would be.......

Many of the pagan nations of the ancient world had their own creation stories. But in these stories, their gods evolved out of natural processes connected with the world itself. They believed and assumed the material universe was eternal, and it brought their gods into beings.

But in the Old Testament, the Book of Genesis declares that God 'existed' before 'creation' and God is in full control of the physical universe/world. God called the world into being by His word. God power is absolute. God does not have to conform to nature and cannot be threatened by it. God is sovereign and does not have to share His power with other supernatural beings.

Since God created the universe/world/earth out of nothing, it is His and will always serve His purpose. As God shaped creation without any interference from anyone, He will bring creation to its desired end. No power can frustrate God in His purpose to complete the process started in creation and indeed, it is revealed in the Sacred Scripture/Holy Bible.

Therefore, our hope rests in the sovereign power of God, the Almighty.

God is Omnipotence (a theological term that refers to all-powerful, all-encompassing power of God) The almighty God expects human beings to be obedience to Him, and God holds them responsible for their thoughts, words and actions. God has so fashioned humankind that He graciously appeals to every person to return to Him.

At various times in the past and in various different ways, God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets; but in our own time, the last days, He has spoken to us through His Son [The Lord Jesus Christ], the Son that He has appointed to inherit everything and through whom He made everything there is.

He [The Lord Jesus Christ] is the radiant light of God's glory and the perfect copy of His nature, sustaining the universe by His powerful command; and now that He has destroyed the defilement of sin, He has gone to take His place in heaven at the right hand of divine Majesty. So He is now as far above the angels as the title which He has inherited than their own name. - Heb. 1:1-4 - Gen. 1:1-31 - John 1:1-18 -

God is Omnipresence (a theological term that refers to God ability to be everywhere at all times or the unlimited nature of God) God is never like the manufactured idols of ancient cultures that were limited to one altar or temple area. God was present as Lord in all creation, and there is no escaping Him. God is present in our innermost thoughts. Even as we are formed in the womb, God knows all the days of our future.

God hears and looks not only on outward words and actions, but especially on the inner attitudes, characters, and behaviors of a person's heart. It is because God is the "Creator and Sustainer" of time and space. God is everywhere and being everywhere, He is our great Redeemer, Comforter, and Friend.

Where could I go to escape Your spirit?
Where could I flee from Your presence?
If I climb the heavens, You are there,
there too, if I lie in Sheol.

If I flew to the points of sunrise,
or westward across the sea,
Your hand would still be guiding me,
Your right hand holding me.

If I asked darkness to cover me,
and light to become night around me,
that darkness would not be dark to You,
night would be as light as day.

It was You who created my inmost self,
and put me together in my mother's womb;
for all these mysteries I thank you:
for the wonder of myself, for the wonder of Your works.

You know me through and through,
from having watched my bones take shape
when I was being formed in secret,
knitted together in the limbo of the womb.

You had scrutinised my every action,
all were recorded in your book,
my days listed and determined,
even before the first of them occurred.

God, how hard it is to grasp Your thoughts!
How impossible to count them!
I could no more count them than I could the sand,
and suppose I could, You would still be with me. - Ps. 139:7-18 -

How rich are the depths of God - how deep His wisdom and knowledge - and how impossible to penetrate His motives or understand His methods! Who could ever know the mind of the Lord? Who could ever be His counsellor? Who could ever give Him anything? All that exists comes from Him; all is by Him and for Him. To God be glory for ever! Amen. - Rom. 11:33-36 -

As soon as Jesus was baptized he came up from the water, and suddenly the heavens opened and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming down on him. And a voice spoke from heaven, "This is my Son, the Beloved; My favor rests on him." - Matt. 3:16-17 -

God is Omniscience. (a theological term that refers to God's superior knowledge and wisdom, His power to know all things) God is the Lord who knows our words thoughts from afar. He is acquainted with all our ways, knowing our words even before they are on our tongues. God needs to consult no one for knowledge or understanding.

God is all-knowing Lord who prophesies the events of the future, including the death of His Only Begotten Son and the return of Christ Jesus at the end of this age when death will be finally overcome.

Therefore, only the all-knowing and all-powerful God can guarantee real freedom from sin, decay, and death. God can begin a process of change in believers during the present ages; for "where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty."

Having this hope, we can be quite confident; not like Moses, who put a veil over his face so that the Israelites would not notice the ending of what had to fade. And anyway, their minds had been dulled; indeed, to this very day, that same veil is still there when the old covenant is being read, a veil never lifted, since Christ alone can remove it.

Yes, even today, whenever Moses is read, the veil is over their minds. It will not be removed until they turn to the Lord Jesus Christ. Now this Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we, with our unveiled faces reflecting like mirrors the brightness of the Lord, all grow brighter and brighter as we are turned into the image that we reflect; this is the work of the Lord who is Spirit. - 2 Cor. 3:12-18 -

I think that what we suffer in this life can never be compared to the glory, as yet unrevealed, which is waiting for us. The whole creation is eagerly waiting for God to reveal His sons and daughters. It was not for any faults on the part of creation that it was made unable to attain its purpose, it was made so by God: but creation still retains the hope of being freed, like us, from the slavery to decadence, to enjoy the same freedom and glory as the children of God.

From the beginning till now the entire creation, as we know, has been groaning in one great act of giving birth; and not only creation, but all of us who possess the first-fruits of the Spirit, we too groan inwardly as we wait for our bodies to be set free.

For we must be content to hope that we shall be saved - our salvation is not in sight, we should not have to be hoping for it if it were -. but as I say, we must hope to be saved since we are not saved yet - it is something we must wait for with patience.

The Spirit too comes to help us in our weakness. For when we cannot choose words in order to pray properly, the Spirit Himself expresses our plea in a way that could never be put onto words, and God who knows everything in our hearts knows perfectly well what he/she means, and that the pleas of the saints expressed by the Spirit are according to the mind of God.

We know that by turning everything to their good God cooperates with all those who love Him, with all those that He called according to His purpose. They are the ones He chose specially long ago and intended to become true images of His Son, so that His Son might be the eldest of many brothers. God called those He intended for this; those He called He justified, and with those He justified He shared His glory.

After saying this, what can we add? With God on our side who can be against us? Since God did not spare His own Son, but gave him up to benefit us all, we may be certain, after such a gift, that He will not refuse anything He can give.

Could anyone accuse those that God has chosen? When God acquits, could anyone condemn? Could Christ Jesus? No! Jesus Christ not only died for us - He rose from the dead, and there at God's right hand He stands and pleads for us.

Nothing therefore can come between us and the love of Christ Jesus, even if we are troubled or worried, or being persecuted, or lacking food and clothes, or being threatened or even attacked. As Sacred Scripture promised: For your sake we are being massacred daily, and reckoned as sheep for the slaughter. These are the trails through which we triumph, by the power of Him who loved us.

For I am certain of this: neither death nor life, no angel, no prince, nothing that exists, nothing still to come, not any power, or height or depth, nor any created thing, can ever come between us and the love of God made visible in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Rom. 8:18-39 - Heb. 4:12-13; Ps. 139:1-6; Is. 40:13-14; Is. chapter 53 -
