Mercy is the aspect of God's love that causes Him to help the miserable, just as grace is the aspect of His love that moves Him to forgive the guilty. Those who are miserable may be so either because of breaking God's law or because of circumstances beyond their control.
God show mercy upon those who have broken His law, although such mercy is selective, demonstrating that it is not deserved. God's mercy on the miserable extends beyond punishment that is withheld. Withheld punishment keeps us from hell, but it does not get us into heaven.
Does it follow that God is unjust? Of course not, Take what God said to Moses; I have mercy on whom I will, and I show pity to whom I please. In other words, the only thing that counts is not what human beings want or try to do, but the mercy of God. For in scripture he says to Pharaoh; It was for this I raised you up, to use you as a means of showing my power and to make my name known throughout the world. In other words, when God wants to show mercy he does, and when he wants to harden someone's heart he does so.
You will ask me. In that case, how can God ever blame anyone, since no one can oppose his will? But what right have you, a human being, to cross-examine God? The pot has no right to say to the potter: Why did you make me this shape? Surely a potter can do what he likes with the clay? It is surely for him to decide whether he will use a particular lump of clay to make a special pot or an ordinary one? - Rom. 9:14-21 - Dan. 9:9; 1Tim. 1:13, 16; Eph. 2:4-6 -
God also shows mercy by actively helping those who are miserable due to circumstances beyond their control. We see this aspect of mercy especially in the life of our Lord Jesus. He healed blind peoples and lepers. These acts of healing grew out of his attitude of compassion and mercy. - Matt. 9:27-31, 20:29-34; Luke 17:11-19 - Because God is merciful, He aspects His children to be merciful. - Matt. 5:7; James 1:27 -

WRATH refers to the personal manifestation of God's holy, moral character in judgment against sin. Wrath is neither an impersonal process nor is it irrational and fitful like anger. It is in no way vindictive or malicious. It is holy indignation - God's anger directed against sin.
God's wrath is an expression of his holy love. If God is not a God of wrath, His love is no more than frail, worthless sentimentality; the concept of mercy is meaningless; and the Cross was a cruel and unnecessary experience for His Son.
The Sacred Scripture/Holy Bible declares that all people are "by nature children of wrath" - We all were among them too in the past, living sensual lives, ruled entirely by our own physical desires and our own ideas; so that by nature we were as much under God's anger as the rest of the world. But God loved us with so much love that He was generous with His mercy: when we were dead through our sins, He brought us to life with him and gave us a place with him in heaven in Christ Jesus, - Eph. 2:3-6 - and that "the wrath of God's is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness". - Rom. 1:18-19 -
Since Christian have been "justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him". - Rom. 5:6-11 - The magnitude of God's love is manifested in the Cross, where God's only Son experienced wrath on our behalf.
"The day of the Lord's wrath" - Zeph. 1:18 - is identical with "the great day of the Lord". - Zeph. 1:14 - These terms refer to "the wrath of the Lamb", Jesus Christ will fall on the ungodly at His Second Coming.
Then all the earthly rulers, the governors and the commanders, the rich people and the men of influence, the whole population, slaves and citizens, took to the mountains to hide in caves and among the rocks. They said to the mountains and the rocks, 'Fall on us and hide us away from the One who sits on the throne and the anger of the Lamb. For the Great Day of his anger has come, and who can survive it?' -Rev. 6:15-17 - 1Thess. 1:10, 5:9-10; 2Thess. 1:7-10 -

WORD OF GOD -- the means by which God makes Himself known, declares His will and brings about His purposes. The phrases such as word of God, and word of the Lord are applied to the commanding word of God that brought creation into existence. - Gen. 1; 2Peter 3:5 -
The term of God is also used of the Ten Commandments given from Mount Sinai, of the whole Mosaic Law, of specific parts of the Old Testament, of a more personal communication from God, of the directive of God that set in motion John the Baptist's ministry, of Jesus' message of the kingdom of God, of the gospels as preached in the early Church, of the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. - Duet. 5:5; Is. 2:3; Rom. 9:6; 1Tim. 4:5; 1Sam. 3:21, 15:10; Luke 3:2; 8:11; Acts 4:31; Rev. 19:13 -
God's word is by which He is present and working in the world. He is not Himself part of the world, but He acts in it by means of His word. His word meets deep needs in the human heart and provides peace, joy, love, satisfaction and confident direction. God's word has the power to penetrate all pretense and discern "the thought and intents of the heart". - Hebrews 4:12-13 -
God's speaking of His word reaches a culmination in the sending of His Son. - John 1:1, 14; Heb. 1:1-2 - All that is true of God's earlier word is true of Jesus. The gospel of Jesus Christ is, in a special way, the word of God as it makes known and brings into operation the reconciliation with God which His purpose for mankind. - 2Cor. 5:18-19 -
So central is the gospel to the purpose of God in this world that the successful spread of the gospel is the growth of the word of God. - Acts 12:24 -
Not only Jesus' message, but also all that He is communicates God to us. He Himself is described as the word of God. The Lord Jesus Christ brings the presence of God to a new level-the personal presence of God in the world in a human life.

WORD, THE --- a theological phrase which expresses the absolute, eternal and ultimate being of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is known by the name. The Word of God. - Revelation 19:13 -
Something which has existed since the beginning,
that we have heard,
and we have seen with our own eyes;
that we have watched
and touched with our hands:
the Word, who is life
this is our subject. - 1John 1:1 -
In the beginning was the Word:
the Word was with God
and the Word was God.
He was with God in the beginning.
Through him all things came to be,
not one thing had its being but through him.
All that came to be had life in him
and that life was the right of men,
a light that shines in the dark, a light that darkness could not overpower.
A man came, sent by God.
His name was John.
He came as a witness,
as a witness to speak for the light,
so that everyone might believe through him.
He was not the light, only a witness to speak for the light.
The Word was the true light
that enlightens all men;
and he was coming into the world.
He was in the world
that had its being through him,
and the world did not know him
He came to his own domain
and his own people did not accept him.
But to all who did accept him
he gave power to become children of God,
to all who believe in the name of him
who was born not out of human stock
or urge of the flesh
or will of man
but of God himself.
The word was made flesh,
he lived among us,
and we saw his glory,
the glory that is his as the only Son of the Father,
full of grace and truth. - John 1:1-14 -
The Old Testament spoke of the word of God as the divine agent in the creation of the universe: "By the word of the Lord the heavens were made". - Psalms 33:6 -
Through the incarnation of Christ, God has come to dwell in our midst. In Christ, the word of God, God's plan and purpose for mankind is clearly revealed.
At various times in the past and in various different ways, God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets; but in our own time, the last days, he has spoken to us through his Son, the Son that he has appointed to inherit everything and through whom he made everything there is.
He is the radiant light of God's glory and the perfect copy of his nature, sustaining the universe by his powerful command; and now that he has destroyed the defilement of sin, he has gone to take his place in heaven at the right hand of divine Majesty. So he is now as far as above the angels as the title which he has inherited is higher than their own name. - Hebrews 1:1-4 -

TRANSFIGURATION refers to a display of God's glory in the person of His Son, Jesus Christ.
Six days later, Jesus took with him Peter, James and John and led them up a high mountain where they could be alone by themselves. There in the presence he was transfigured: his clothes became dazzlingly white, whiter than any earthly bleacher could make them. Elijah appeared to them with Moses; and they were talking with Jesus.
Then Peter spoke to Jesus; Rabbi, he said it is wonderful for us to be here; so let us make three tents, one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah. He did not know what to say, they were so frightened. And a cloud came, covering them in shadow; and there came a voice from the cloud, 'This is my Son, the Beloved. Listen to him. Then suddenly, when they look round, they saw no one with them any more but only Jesus. - Mark 9:2-8, Luke 9:28-36, Matthew 17:1-8 -
Moses and Elijah appeared also. Both of these were Old Testament figures who did not have a normal death and burial. Luke indicates they discussed Jesus approaching death which He was going to fulfill and accomplish at Jerusalem and also all that the Old Testament prophesied. Jesus was destined for the cross.
A cloud overshadowed Jesus during His Transfiguration. This has symbolic as well as historical significance. It is a subtle reminder of the Exodus and the appearance of God to Moses on Mount Sinai, when God also spoke from a cloud. - Exodus 24 -
In the Transfiguration God showed clearly that Jesus is His Son, superior even to the two great Old Testament figures, Moses and Elijah. His disciples are to listen to Him. At the same time, symbols of the SECOND COMING of Christ are also present in the Transfiguration account, Jesus will come with clouds and be revealed as God's chosen one. Saint Peter cites the Transfiguration as historical proof of the true gospel of Christ. - 2Peter 1:16-18 -
It was not any cleverly invented myths that we were repeating when we brought you the knowledge of the power and the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ; we had seen his majesty for ourselves. He was honoured and glorified by God the Father, when the Sublime Glory itself spoke to him and said, 'This is my Son, the Beloved; he enjoys my favour. We heard this ourselves, spoken from heaven, when we were with him on the holy mountain.

There in the presence he was transfigured: his clothes became dazzlingly white, whiter than any earthly bleacher could make them. Elijah appeared to them with Moses; and they were talking with Jesus.
Then Peter spoke to Jesus; Rabbi, he said it is wonderful for us to be here; so let us make three tents, one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah. He did not know what to say, they were so frightened. And a cloud came, covering them in shadow; and there came a voice from the cloud, 'This is my Son, the Beloved. Listen to him. Then suddenly, when they look round, they saw no one with them any more but only Jesus. - Mark 9:2-8, Luke 9:28-36, Matthew 17:1-8 -
Moses and Elijah appeared also. Both of these were Old Testament figures who did not have a normal death and burial. Luke indicates they discussed Jesus approaching death which He was going to fulfill and accomplish at Jerusalem and also all that the Old Testament prophesied. Jesus was destined for the cross.
A cloud overshadowed Jesus during His Transfiguration. This has symbolic as well as historical significance. It is a subtle reminder of the Exodus and the appearance of God to Moses on Mount Sinai, when God also spoke from a cloud. - Exodus 24 -
In the Transfiguration God showed clearly that Jesus is His Son, superior even to the two great Old Testament figures, Moses and Elijah. His disciples are to listen to Him. At the same time, symbols of the SECOND COMING of Christ are also present in the Transfiguration account, Jesus will come with clouds and be revealed as God's chosen one. Saint Peter cites the Transfiguration as historical proof of the true gospel of Christ. - 2Peter 1:16-18 -
It was not any cleverly invented myths that we were repeating when we brought you the knowledge of the power and the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ; we had seen his majesty for ourselves. He was honoured and glorified by God the Father, when the Sublime Glory itself spoke to him and said, 'This is my Son, the Beloved; he enjoys my favour. We heard this ourselves, spoken from heaven, when we were with him on the holy mountain.

Through our willingness to suffer whatever life demands of us we become disciples of Christ. We often feel that we have much to suffer. Saint Paul however is convinced that the sufferings of this present world cannot be compared with the glory that will be revealed in us. - Rom. 8:18 -
That is why he preached Christ crucified. - 1Cor. 1:23 - He wanted to fill up what was still lacking in the sufferings of Christ. - Col. 1:24 - This union with Christ is deeper than we think. Jesus Christ came into this world to redeem us. He laid the foundation for this in his life and suffering. The redemption is not completed.
Christ wants to continue his work of redemption through human beings. He wants to become human again in us, until we have become "alter Christus", that is, a new Christ on earth. This can be realised only in human beings who open themselves to Christ to such a degree that his grace can flow through them to others. This can happen only in the measure in which we let go of ourselves in order to become wholly permeable. This is a first condition. Another is to become defenceless to such a degree that sin can flow through us and can be accepted by Christ. When the willingness to be open to unredeemed darkness without defending ourselves grows in us then Christ can receive it and redeem it.
Perhaps, these few sentences make clear what a deep union with Christ can be created through suffering of what is unredeemed. Jesus Christ redeemed us by his suffering. He continues to suffer in us, until we are totally redeemed. His deepest pain is not caused by our sin, but by our interior resistance to this process of redemption.
We want to give him our best, we want to become wholly good people for him, but we forget to give him our worst also. He asks us to suffer our sins through him and with him. Anyone who wishes to go this way should strive enduringly to keep his willingness to suffer alive.

Often suffering itself is not the deepest pain. It is essentially more painful not to be able to love people who make us suffer. We have to make ourselves ready to suffer. We fear suffering and flee from it. The unconscious has been loaded, so to say, with rejection of suffering. The other rind which separates the dark layer from the sphere of thought and action, is resistance to suffering. We flee by any means from suffering and personal distress. We are convinced that only the guilty should suffer.
So we are always in search of a scapegoat on whom we can load the painful punishment. We justify ourselves and accuse others in order to escape suffering. Behind all human harshness lies the fear of having to suffer. With every hurt received comes the desire to retaliate. The alternative to an aggressive reaction is swallowing everything by which, however, nothing has been suffered through. It has only been represented and is stored in the subconscious like everything else that is already waiting there for redemption. How many distractions we invent during meditation! They only serve to prevent the confrontation with our darkness, because it is painful.
Redemption takes place only through suffering. Our nature resists suffering. So we always need to strengthen our inner readiness to suffer what life imposes on us. Our readiness to suffer can be compared to a trapdoor. If someone wants to enter through to it to another room, it opens wide with a strong movement. As soon as someone has passed through it begins to close. Before half a minute has gone, it is already firmly closed again. It is similar with our readiness to suffer. In a moment of good will we are only too ready to take up our cross and follow Christ. In this shortest time this readiness disappears quietly and unnoticeably, until we again reject all that means suffering, as we did before. The readiness to follow Christ reduced itself to the pleasant moments.
We ourselves hardly notice it. Active readiness is very important. If we are not ready to suffer, we unconsciously reject nearly everything from the beginning. We don't even notice that we have again
suppressed something. This takes place most often in meditation. In the silence we come to face ourselves, and so our unsolved conflicts begin to move in our unconscious. They force themselves into consciousness to be accepted. that is, redeemed. If the active readiness to suffer is lacking at the moment, we do not even become aware of the fact that we again suppress the unredeemed shadow into the unconscious.
With active readiness to suffer our times of meditation become more painful, but also more salvific. What is suffered in love is healed.

We are on earth in order to be redeemed. Sin, the darkness in us, separates us from God and from others. Only when all the darkness in us is dissolved, are we wholly received into the eternal love of God. Only after the dark zone in ourselves has been redeemed through suffering, can we see God. That is the goal of our earthly existence.
A person who has suffered his original sin to the end in love and has followed Christ in this sense has not live in vain on earth. But a person who has evaded this redemptive love during life has to continue the way of redemption after death. That is the Church's teaching on purgatory.
We are on earth in order to allow our own and others' darkness to be received. Love alone dissolves the darkness, When a human being is loved, he and she is more and more enabled to accept his and her darkness, suffer it and allow it to be redeemed. No one goes this way for himself and herself alone, but also for others.
If someone wants to help others in this process, he and she has to radiate much love. Should anyone believe he and she can work for the redemption of his and her fellow human beings without allowing himself and herself to be intensely involved with this redeeming process, deceives himself and herself.
We radiate only what we are. The radiation touches the human being from within, on the level of contemplation, there where redemption takes place. Every work with others, be it pastoral care, charitable or social work, depends for effectiveness more on one's own transformation than on manifold activity.

These two forms of the spiritual life stand in a peculiar relationship to the inner reality of the human being, to the outer rind, to the dark layer, and the good core. The level around the rind presents the sphere of pre-contemplative prayer. Within the rind lies the sphere of contemplation.
This means in the concrete, that outside the rinds the laws for changing the world are valid; we have to think actively and reach goals. our reactions in daily life are like this. If something disturbs us, we immediately ask ourselves what is the cause, and try to change it. Within the rind, in the dark layer and in the good core, we can neither think or act. The moment we begin to think or to act, we are already outside the rind.
How are we to behave in the contemplative sphere? First of all, look and gaze. This is purely spiritual activity with which we do not aspire to reach anything. To look, always implies letting go being directed toward something. Secondly, we can trust.
Thirdly, we can love. This is not love as we usually understand it. It is the pure love that no longer expects anything from the other. It is like the sun which always shines and does not cease to shine even when its ray are not received or reflected. This love comes from looking and cannot be made. If we remain in looking, in contemplating, it grows in a natural way. Fourthly, we can suffer, Sin that is suffered in contemplating and loving is redeemed and never returns.
In meditation, we gradually grow calm. This leads us to the rind we mentioned, our resistance to our sin. If we continue to devote our attention to awareness, the rind breaks open, and we enter the zone we called the layer of darkness. We experience our negative feelings which separate us from God and from others. Our spontaneous reaction is to think and do. We ask ourselves from whence this darkness comes, why it is there and how we can remove it. Thus we become active and fallen back into our old habits of thought and action.
On the contemplative level, however, we neither think nor act, and so we have left the contemplative sphere through our reaction. and find ourselves again outside the rind, in the pre-contemplative sphere. If we want to stay in contemplation, we must stay looking. Looking means, in our case, directing our attention to the sensation of our hands, and through this to the awareness of the present. It is looking in the direction of the good core, the presence of God. We enter more into depth, into the dark layer, which causes pain.
To remain in contemplation we need to admit the pain and bear it. But whatever is suffered through in this way, while looking toward God, is redeemed. It does not return. So much light and strength comes to meet us from the good core, that we find the courage to continue.

To remain in contemplation we need to admit the pain and bear it. But whatever is suffered through in this way, while looking toward God, is redeemed. It does not return. So much light and strength comes to meet us from the good core, that we find the courage to continue.

As pre-contemplative and contemplative prayer play an essential role in the process of purification. Let us look at it more closely.
The spiritual life is divided into two periods. The first we call pre-contemplative. Spiritual progress is achieved through our own effort. We need to reflect, evaluate, examine our conscience. we consider, decide and make resolutions. These resolutions are renewed and put into practice, until the desired change in ourselves has taken place. Love and faith have grow in us. It goes without saying that all these endeavours are impossible without the accompanying grace of God. All the same; it is we ourselves who make the effort to progress spiritually, it is we who work for the kingdom of God in the sweat of our brow.
After a certain time we are led into the contemplative phase. Our way of procedure changes. Instead of exerting ourselves to make progress, we now need to learn to look at God alone and let go of everything else. We trust that everything else will be added unto us, if we solely orient ourselves to God. The difference is very important. In the contemplative phase our sole endeavour is directed to our relationship with God.
Everything else happens by itself, occurs, is given. We no longer worry about the course of things on earth. This does not mean inactivity, but our activity has lost all anxiety. We are gradually becoming independent of results. The pressure for achievement disappears. During the pre-contemplative phase our effort was directly turned to changing ourselves and the world. we have to obtain results. This causes pressure, worry and stress.

Live according to the true faith in Christ, not according to the half true or false teaching.
You must live your whole life according to the Christ you have received - Jesus the Lord; you must be rooted in him and built on him and held firm by the faith you have been taught, and full of thanksgiving.
Make sure that no one traps you and deprives you of your freedom by some secondhand, empty, rational, philosophy based on the principles of this world instead of on Christ.
Christ alone is the true head of men and angels.
In his body lives the fullness of divinity, and in him you too find your own fulfilment, in the one who is the head of every Sovereignty and Power. - Colossians 2:6-10 -
Work for your salvation 'in fear and trembling'. It is God for his own loving purpose, who puts both the will and the action into you. Do all that has to be done without complaining or arguing and then you will be innocent and genuine, perfect children of God among a deceitful and underhand brood, and you will shine in the world like bright stars because you are offering it the word of life. - Philippians 2:12-16 -

'But you,' he said 'who do you say I am?' Then Simon Peter spoke up, 'You are the Christ,' he said 'the Son of the living God.' Jesus replied, Simon son of Jonah, you are a happy man! Because it was not flesh and blood that revealed this to you but my Father in heaven. So I now say to you; You are Peter and on this rock I will build my Church. And the gates of the underworld can never hold out against it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven: whatever you bind on earth shall be considered bound in heaven; whatever you loose on earth shall be considered loosed in heaven. - Matthew 16:15-19 -
Many try to imply that it was Peter's faith on which Jesus established the Church. But closer examination of the words of Jesus reveal that the selection and appointment was of divine nature. Christians, clinging to the notion that the Church was build on the faith of Peter. Sorry and sad to said, their thinking and understanding is entirely and completely on their own merit, without God's grace.
If anyone is skeptical of the Catholic Church it is mainly because the church today has become a free enterprise or a business operation. Try to access the Internet and by no surprise, anyone, who claimed he and she read and knows the Bible well and have faith, he and she can be ordained as pastors and will help linking them to some churches. Our faith should be in the Church established by the Lord Jesus Christ, not because of any person influences and feeling good.
This is what you are to teach them to believe and persuade them to do. Anyone teaches anything different, and does not keep to the sound teaching which is that of our Lord Jesus Christ, the doctrine which is in accordance with true religion, is simply ignorant and must be full of self-conceit - with a craze for questioning everything and arguing about words. All that can come of this is jealousy, contention, abuse and wicked mistrust of one another, and unending disputes by people who are neither rational nor informed and imagine that religion is a way of making a profit.
Religion, of course, does bring large profits, but only to those who are content with what they have. We brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it; but as long as we have food and clothing, let us be content with that. People who long to be rich are a prey to temptation; they get trapped into all sorts of foolish and dangerous ambitions which eventually plunge them into ruin and destruction. The love of money is the root of all evils and there are some who, pursuing it, have wandered away from the faith, and so given their souls any number of fatal wounds.
But, as people dedicated to God, you must avoid all that. You must aim to be saintly and religious, filled with faith and love, patient and gentle. Fight the good fight of the faith and win for yourself the eternal life to which you were called when you made your profession and spoke up for the truth in front of many witnesses. - 1Timothy 6:3-12 -
But if anyone of you should suffer for being Christian, then he is not to be ashamed of it; he should thank God that he has been called one. - 1Peter 4:16 -

NICENE CREED
I believe in one God,
the Father, the Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all that is, seen and unseen.
I believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,
the only Son of God,
eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made, one Being with the Father,
Through him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation
he came down from heaven: (All bow, up to: and became man)
by the power of the Holy Spirit
he was born of the Virgin Mary, and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered, died, and was buried.
On the third day he rose again
in fulfilment of the Scriptures;
he ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead,
and his kingdom will have no end.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son.
With the Father and the Son he is worshipped and glorified.
He has spoken through the Prophets.
I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church.
I acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
I look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come. Amen.

CREED -- a brief, authoritative, formal statement of religious beliefs. The word creed comes from the Latin word credo ("I believe"), the first word of both the Nicene Creed and the Apostles' Creed.
There are three most historically important, creeds of the Church.
The Nicene Creed. A creed adopted by the First Council of Nicaea (A.D. 325) and revised by the First Council of Constantinople (A.D. 381). The First Council of Nicaea, convened by the Roman emperor Constantine the Great (ruled A.D. 306-307), rejected a heresy known as Arianism, which denied the divinity of Jesus. The Nicene Creed formally proclaimed the divinity and equality of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, in the Trinity.
The Apostles' Creed. This well-known creed lies at the basis of most other religious statements of belief. Although it bears the name of the apostles, it did not originate with them. It was written after the close of the New Testament and it held an important place in the early Church.
The Athanasian Creed. A Christian creed originating in Europe in the fourth century and relating especially to the doctrines of the Trinity and the bodily INCARNATION of Christ. This creed was originally ascribed to Saint Athanasius, but it is now believed to be the work of an unknown writer of the time.

5) Jesus is the Lord.
As we consider all the evidence, there is only one possibility that truly satisfies:
Jesus is who He says He is. He is God in the flesh. He is the eternal Son of God, the Messiah, sent to save the world from its sins. He indeed is the Lord of the Universe, who came to give us eternal life. He really and truly shed His blood for us on the cross and He really and truly rose from the dead and ascended into heaven.
Now He offers us all the riches of His love, mercy, forgiveness, joy, power and peace by the gift of the Holy Spirit, and eternal life with His Father through the sacraments of His Church, which is His body.

For our knowledge is imperfect and our prophesying is imperfect; but once perfection comes, all imperfect things will disappear. When I was a child, I used to talk like a child, and think like a child, and argue like a child, but now I am a man, all childish ways are put behind me. Now we are seeing a dim reflection in a mirror; but then we shall be seeing face to face. The knowledge that I have now is imperfect; but then I shall know as fully as I am known.
