Sin is lawlessness or transgression of God's will. Mankind originally fell into sin at the temptation of Satan. As a tempter, he continues to lure people into sin, nevertheless, people remain fully responsible for what they do. God is not the author of sin, but His plan for world redemption does include His dealing with the reality of sin. Sin involves the denial of the living God from whom human beings draw their lives and existence, the consequence of this revolt is death and the torment of hell. Death is the ultimate penalty imposed by God for sin.

Sin deserves divine punishment because it is a violation of God's holy character, but His pardon is gracious. In order for God to forgive sin, two conditions are necessary. A life must be taken as a substitute for that of a sinner and the sinner must come to God's sacrifice in a spirit of repentance and faith. Since He bore the laws death penalty against sinners those who trust in His love and laws are freed from that penalty. God's forgiveness of us demands that we forgive others because grace brings responsibility and obligation. Through God's atoning grace and forgiveness, we are reinstated to a relationship of atonement with God. Therefore we must love our Lord, your God's with all your soul, with all your heart, with all your mind, and with all your strength.

I have through years of reading, pondering, reflecting and contemplating, the 3 things that last; FAITH . HOPE . LOVE and I would like to made available my sharing from the many thinkers, authors, scholars and theologians whose ideas and thoughts I have borrowed. God be with them always. Amen!

I STILL HAVE MANY THINGS TO SAY TO YOU BUT THEY WOULD BE TOO MUCH FOR YOU NOW. BUT WHEN THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH COMES, HE WILL LEAD YOU TO THE COMPLETE TRUTH, SINCE HE WILL NOT BE SPEAKING AS FROM HIMSELF, BUT WILL SAY ONLY WHAT HE HAS LEARNT; AND HE WILL TELL YOU OF THE THINGS TO COME.

HE WILL GLORIFY ME, SINCE ALL HE TELLS YOU WILL BE TAKEN FROM WHAT IS MINE. EVERYTHING THE FATHER HAS IS MINE; THAT IS WHY I SAID: ALL HE TELLS YOU WILL BE TAKEN FROM WHAT IS MINE. - JOHN 16:12-15 -

God bestows more consideration on the purity of intention with which our actions are performed than on the actions themselves - Saint August...
