Christianity has spread to virtually every culture on earth, and people from each culture have understood or re-interpreted the Christian message in their own way.
Jesus Christ's had a number of disciples, prominent among whom was an inner circle called 'the twelve', who accompanied Him during his ministry in Galilee and trip to Jerusalem. The Sacred Scripture/Holy Bible, - Acts 2:22-24,26 - tells us that 3'000 people joined the disciples as a result of Peter's speech, and that in the days, that followed they set up a remarkable community. - Acts 2:43-47 -
Christians believed that God had raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Christians also anticipated that Jesus Christ will come again (Second Coming) in glory to judge the living and the dead. - 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 -
The Christians conviction, from the outset, that Jesus Christ was the Messiah. He was also 'Lord', a term that carried greater meaning than it might have for most people today. It indicated that Jesus Christ was exalted, for the word 'Lord' was generally reserved for God or for those associated with divinity - God himself. To call Jesus Christ 'Lord' as writers of the New Testament did repeatedly indicated that He was at the very least closely associated with God and came as His envoy.
There was a sense that, after His resurrection had not simply vindicated Jesus Christ but glorified Him. - Romans 1:3-4 -
Saint Paul suggests that it was after the resurrection that Jesus Christ was 'declared' to be the Son of God. It meant only someone blessed or favoured by God, not necessarily a person somehow metaphysically related to him or literally his son - Colossians 1:15-20 and Romans 6:3-5 -
The above gives us an understanding of The First Christians, The Christian Community, The Faith of The Christians and having Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ....

I have through years of reading, pondering, reflecting and contemplating, the 3 things that last; FAITH . HOPE . LOVE and I would like to made available my sharing from the many thinkers, authors, scholars and theologians whose ideas and thoughts I have borrowed. God be with them always. Amen!
I STILL HAVE MANY THINGS TO SAY TO YOU BUT THEY WOULD BE TOO MUCH FOR YOU NOW. BUT WHEN THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH COMES, HE WILL LEAD YOU TO THE COMPLETE TRUTH, SINCE HE WILL NOT BE SPEAKING AS FROM HIMSELF, BUT WILL SAY ONLY WHAT HE HAS LEARNT; AND HE WILL TELL YOU OF THE THINGS TO COME.
HE WILL GLORIFY ME, SINCE ALL HE TELLS YOU WILL BE TAKEN FROM WHAT IS MINE. EVERYTHING THE FATHER HAS IS MINE; THAT IS WHY I SAID: ALL HE TELLS YOU WILL BE TAKEN FROM WHAT IS MINE. - JOHN 16:12-15 -
