SAINTS -- people who have been separated from the world and consecrated to the worship and service of the Lord are referred to by the phrase throughout the Sacred Scripture/Holy Bible, although its meaning is developed more fully in the New Testament.
Consecration (setting apart) and purity are the basic meanings of the term. Believers are called "saints" - Rom. 1:7 - and "saints in Christ Jesus" - Phil. 1:1 - because they belong to the One who provided their sanctification.
When Christ returns, the saints will be clothed in the "righteous acts" - Rev. 19:8 - because they will have continued to live in faith and love through God's power - 1Sam. 2:9 - and Christ's praying for them. And God who knows everything in our hearts knows perfectly well what he means and that the pleas of the saints expressed by the Spirit are according to the mind of God. - Rom. 8:27 -
The saints are also those to whom the privilege of revelation, the message which was a mystery hidden for generations and centuries and now been revealed to his saints. - Col. 1:26; Jude 3 - and the task of ministry are committed.
And to some, his gift was that they should be apostles; to some, prophets; to some, evangelists; to some, pastors and teachers, so that the saints together make a unity in the work of service, building up the body of Christ. In this way we are all come to unity in our faith and in our knowledge of the Son of God, until we become the perfect Man, fully mature with the fullness of Christ himself. - Eph. 4:11-13 -
Saintly life is a call and challenge for every human being to respond according to the signs of time. It is a life with total commitment to God and people.
Saints are persons who have deeply encountered and experienced the presence of God in themselves, others and the world around. They always live in the presence of God and that would be the foundational experience for all their activities.
Saints are persons who live a prophetic life. Their prophetic dimension of courage and heretical stand come from their deep communion with God.
Saints are our source of inspiration and hope, and sainthood is for everyone.

I have through years of reading, pondering, reflecting and contemplating, the 3 things that last; FAITH . HOPE . LOVE and I would like to made available my sharing from the many thinkers, authors, scholars and theologians whose ideas and thoughts I have borrowed. God be with them always. Amen!
I STILL HAVE MANY THINGS TO SAY TO YOU BUT THEY WOULD BE TOO MUCH FOR YOU NOW. BUT WHEN THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH COMES, HE WILL LEAD YOU TO THE COMPLETE TRUTH, SINCE HE WILL NOT BE SPEAKING AS FROM HIMSELF, BUT WILL SAY ONLY WHAT HE HAS LEARNT; AND HE WILL TELL YOU OF THE THINGS TO COME.
HE WILL GLORIFY ME, SINCE ALL HE TELLS YOU WILL BE TAKEN FROM WHAT IS MINE. EVERYTHING THE FATHER HAS IS MINE; THAT IS WHY I SAID: ALL HE TELLS YOU WILL BE TAKEN FROM WHAT IS MINE. - JOHN 16:12-15 -
