What I say contains no fallacies, I assure you,
you see before you an enlightened man. - Job. 36:4 -
This God, his way is blameless;
the word of Yahweh is without dross.
He it is who is the shield
of all who take shelter in him. - Ps. 18:30 -
Even the pagans do as much, do they not? You must therefore be perfect just as your heavenly Father is perfect. - Matt. 5:48 -
BY contrast, man's perfection is relative and dependent on God for its existence. As applied to a person's moral state in this life, perfection may refer either to a relatively blameless lifestyle or to a person's maturity as a believer. Because perfection in this life is never reached, man will continue to sin.
My brothers, you will always have your trails but when they come, try to treat them as a happy privilege; you understand that your faith is only put to the test to make you patient but patience too is to have its practical results so that you will become fully developed, complete, with nothing missing. - James 1:2-4 -
After all everyone of us does something wrong, over and over again; the only man who could reach perfection would be someone who never said anything wrong - he would be able to control every part of himself. - James 3:2 -
That is the way I can hope to take my place in the resurrection of the dead. Not that I have become perfect yet: I have not yet won but I am still running, trying to capture the prize for which Christ Jesus captured me. I can assure you my brothers, I am far from thinking that I have already won. All I can say is that I forget the past and I strain ahead for what is still to come; I am racing for the finish for the prize to which God calls us upwards to receive in Christ Jesus. We who are called 'perfect' must all think in this way. If there is some point on which you see things differently, God will make it clear to you; meanwhile let us go forward on the road that has brought us to where we are. - Phil. 3:12-16 -
If we say we have no sin in us,
we are deceiving ourselves
and refusing to admit the truth;
but if we acknowledge our sins,
then God who is faithful and just
will forgive our sins and purify us
from everything that is wrong.
To say that we have never sinned
is to call God a liar
and to show that his word is not in us. - 1John 1:8-10 -
A believer's perfection in the next life, however, will be without sin.
Husbands should love their wives just as Christ loved the Church and sacrificed himself for her to make her holy. He made her clean by washing her in water with a form of words so that when he took her to himself she would be glorious, with no speck or wrinkle or anything like that but holy and faultless. - Eph. 5:25-27 -
The mystery of Christ among you, your hope of glory; this is the Christ we proclaim, this is the wisdom in which we thoroughly train everyone and instruct everyone, to make perfect in Christ. It is for this I struggle wearily on, helped only by his power driving me irresistibly. - Col. 1:28-29 -
May the God of peace make you perfect and holy; and may you all be kept safe and blameless, spirit, soul and body, for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. God has called you and he will not fail you. - 1Thess. 5:23-24 -

I have through years of reading, pondering, reflecting and contemplating, the 3 things that last; FAITH . HOPE . LOVE and I would like to made available my sharing from the many thinkers, authors, scholars and theologians whose ideas and thoughts I have borrowed. God be with them always. Amen!
I STILL HAVE MANY THINGS TO SAY TO YOU BUT THEY WOULD BE TOO MUCH FOR YOU NOW. BUT WHEN THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH COMES, HE WILL LEAD YOU TO THE COMPLETE TRUTH, SINCE HE WILL NOT BE SPEAKING AS FROM HIMSELF, BUT WILL SAY ONLY WHAT HE HAS LEARNT; AND HE WILL TELL YOU OF THE THINGS TO COME.
HE WILL GLORIFY ME, SINCE ALL HE TELLS YOU WILL BE TAKEN FROM WHAT IS MINE. EVERYTHING THE FATHER HAS IS MINE; THAT IS WHY I SAID: ALL HE TELLS YOU WILL BE TAKEN FROM WHAT IS MINE. - JOHN 16:12-15 -
