Be good to all, but refuse to sin for anyone. There can never be any excuse for doing what is wrong and displeasing to God. Human respect is the fear of being criticized or corrected by people. Live our life in God presence, and do not think too much of what people may think or say. As long as our conscience is clear, the thoughts or words of men can neither add to nor subtract from our true worth. We are not a better man when people praise you, nor are we worse when they find fault with us.

We are what we are and God see us as we really are. Our value in God eyes does not depend upon the judgments of people. God look upon our heart. He see our intentions and our sincere efforts. Men judge us mainly by our external actions. They cannot be sure of our merit or guilt in the deed. Too often they judge us by their own likes and dislikes or by their own vanity and fixed ideas.

In this matter try to imitate Apostle Paul. He tried to please everyone, becoming all things to all men. Yet he made no account of what people thought of him. He knew only too well that it is impossible to satisfy everyone. He laboured hard to improve the lives of men, but he could not prevent the harsh criticism and judgments of some. Like Paul we too must place our life in God hands and leave all judgments to God. Defend ourselves against unjust criticism by humility and patience, and when silence would do more harm than good, pray for a prudent tongue and then defend ourselves with the truth.

It is consoling to realize that while people see only the action, God sees also the desire, the intention, and the sincerity of our effort. As long as we do our honest best, without self-deception or pride. God will see that truth conquers in the end. God's saints lived in this world without complaint. They were aware of their own defects and they offered up their daily trails in reparation for their faults. They developed the virtues of humility and simplicity in order to avoid self-deception.

Their greatest fear was that they might deceive themselves into a sense of their own goodness or even of superiority over others. By living with eyes fixed on God, they lived in love, joy and peace. A loving and peaceful man has far more influence than a merely learned one. Do not desire anything more nor less than God's Will, and His love and peace will remain with us. Then may we hope to bring this love and peace to others.

All men desires love and peace, but so few do what it takes to obtain true love and peace. Some think that they will find it in financial security. Others seek it in continual activity. Others hope to find peace in human friendship or human praise or human admiration. These things are not the source of true love and true peace. A daily life of praying, healthy thinking and unselfish following of God's Will, is the one and only source of true love and true peace. Interior tranquility is God's gift to those who love His truth and obey His Will in their daily life. Resentment against some circumstances, robs many people of their love and peace of soul. We should learn to live with what we cannot control or eliminate in our daily life. God will help us to rise above such things if only we give Him a chance to share our life.

Peace is the tranquility which comes from order. Order means that everything is as it should be, where there is order, there will we find God love and peace. God love and peace does not leave us until some disorder has entered into our soul. This disorder may be in our own will and in our own thoughts. Never take our eyes away from God teachings, otherwise we will easily be deceived. Let no human praise, nor human fault-finding, influence our faith in God.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Reveal to us, teach us and inspires us with the truth that when we disagree with You. We are actually our own worst enemy. Help us beyond all doubt, once and for all. Then will we know and experience the wonderful gifts of interior love and peace. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning. is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

I have through years of reading, pondering, reflecting and contemplating, the 3 things that last; FAITH . HOPE . LOVE and I would like to made available my sharing from the many thinkers, authors, scholars and theologians whose ideas and thoughts I have borrowed. God be with them always. Amen!

I STILL HAVE MANY THINGS TO SAY TO YOU BUT THEY WOULD BE TOO MUCH FOR YOU NOW. BUT WHEN THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH COMES, HE WILL LEAD YOU TO THE COMPLETE TRUTH, SINCE HE WILL NOT BE SPEAKING AS FROM HIMSELF, BUT WILL SAY ONLY WHAT HE HAS LEARNT; AND HE WILL TELL YOU OF THE THINGS TO COME.

HE WILL GLORIFY ME, SINCE ALL HE TELLS YOU WILL BE TAKEN FROM WHAT IS MINE. EVERYTHING THE FATHER HAS IS MINE; THAT IS WHY I SAID: ALL HE TELLS YOU WILL BE TAKEN FROM WHAT IS MINE. - JOHN 16:12-15 -

God bestows more consideration on the purity of intention with which our actions are performed than on the actions themselves - Saint August...
