Though it seemed Abraham's hope could not be fulfilled, he hoped and he believed and through doing so he did become the father of many nations exactly as he had been promised: Your descendants will be as many as the stars. - Rom. 4:18 -
We have never failed to remember you in our prayers and to give thanks for you to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, ever since we heard about your faith in Christ Jesus and the love that you show towards all the saints because of the hope which is stored up for you in heaven. It is only recently that you heard of this when it was announced in the message of the truth. - Col. 1:3-5 -
Blessed be God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who in his great mercy has given us a new birth as his sons by raising Jesus Christ from the dead so that we have a sure hope and the promise of an inheritance that can never be spoilt or soiled and never fade away because it is being kept for you in heavens. Through your faith, God's power will guard you until the salvation which has been prepared is revealed at the end of time. This is a cause of great joy for you even though you may for a short time have to bear being plagued by all sorts of trails; so that when Jesus Christ is revealed, your faith will have been tested and proved like gold - only it is more precious than gold which is corruptible even though it bears testing by fire - and then you will have praise and glory and honour. You did not see him and yet you love him; and still without seeing him, you are already filled with joy so glorious that it cannot be described because you believe; and you are sure of the end to which your faith looks forward, that is, salvation of your souls. - 1Peter 1:3-9 -
God's faithfulness is the source of the Christian's deliverance from temptation; assurance of salvation and forgiveness of sins. Faithfulness is also expected in Christian believers and should be deeply reflected in the lives of His people, so that they can be called "the faithful". The New Testament speaks of the faithfulness of Abraham - Neh. 9:8 - Moses - Heb. 3:5 - Paul - 1Cor. 7:25 - the apostles, prophets, baptised, disciples, followers and believers. - 1Cor. 4:1-2; Luke 12:41-44 -
God's is always faithful to His children because the Lord is first of all faithful to Himself. - 2Tim. 2:8-13 -
Let us keep firm in the hope we profess because the one who made the promise is faithful. Let us be concerned for each other to stir a response in love and good works. - Heb. 10:23-24 -

I have through years of reading, pondering, reflecting and contemplating, the 3 things that last; FAITH . HOPE . LOVE and I would like to made available my sharing from the many thinkers, authors, scholars and theologians whose ideas and thoughts I have borrowed. God be with them always. Amen!
I STILL HAVE MANY THINGS TO SAY TO YOU BUT THEY WOULD BE TOO MUCH FOR YOU NOW. BUT WHEN THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH COMES, HE WILL LEAD YOU TO THE COMPLETE TRUTH, SINCE HE WILL NOT BE SPEAKING AS FROM HIMSELF, BUT WILL SAY ONLY WHAT HE HAS LEARNT; AND HE WILL TELL YOU OF THE THINGS TO COME.
HE WILL GLORIFY ME, SINCE ALL HE TELLS YOU WILL BE TAKEN FROM WHAT IS MINE. EVERYTHING THE FATHER HAS IS MINE; THAT IS WHY I SAID: ALL HE TELLS YOU WILL BE TAKEN FROM WHAT IS MINE. - JOHN 16:12-15 -
